At 72€ a night with breakfast, it felt like a lot for someone who only needs a bed and a hot shower. Breakfast was okay, though. The facilities are really nice, and Valerie greeted us warmly and was polite and helpful.

The owner is a delight, and breakfast is included. There’s no lunch or dinner, but cyclists will find this a great base in Arette, with a garage and huge, comfortable rooms. A real 10/10 surprise.

The welcome was friendly, but there’s no air conditioning and not even a bottle of water in the fridge. What a shame. I’d avoid this place.

It’s an unusual place to stay, but I’d definitely recommend it. The service was excellent, and breakfast had plenty of choice, tasted great, and was hard to beat.
