A charming, affordable apartment with mountain views from the balcony. The village is a 30-45 minute trip from many important Pyrenees sites, including Pont d' Espagne, Gavarnie, Pic du Midi, and col de aubisque.

We loved our nearly week-long September stay. The apartment has a great design and has been newly decorated and furnished. The bike storage and washing machine were especially useful. Sheets and towels aren't included in the rate.

We're repeat guests at Maison Candela, and this was our second year. We'll be back next year too. Marie Line welcomed us so warmly. The accommodations are bright, very well equipped, and impeccably clean. Argelès is a great base for exploring the region. We have an excellent stay every time. Thank you!

What made my stay feel like home was the friendly atmosphere on the balcony and in the garden, along with the warm, attentive hospitality from lovely Marie Line. She was always available if I needed anything. La Maison Candela is a magnificent building in a quiet spot, still close to the village center, thermal baths, and shops. In October I rented a superb first-floor studio with a balcony. It felt Swedish, was bright, clean, and functional, and had perfect bedding. I enjoyed the stay so much that I've already booked for 2024. I can't wait to see my friends again!
