There's a campsite right next door, so expect to hear teenagers' music throughout the day. The apartments themselves are spacious and in a good location.

It's a pleasant residence, nicely situated near both the beach and the shops.

The huge sandy beach at Argelès-sur-Mer is an easy walk away, and the location makes up for a lot, especially outside the busy season. Shops, restaurants, bike rentals and a doctor's office are close too, with a bakery just 30 meters away. The bike paths are well developed, so Collioure is easy to reach by bike and you can leave the car parked. Parking in France was expensive in June 2026, unfortunately. Residence Plein Sud has three wings. Half the apartments, owned by different people and furnished in different styles, look onto a nicely landscaped courtyard and the residence's secure parking area. The other half can get quite a bit of noise in high season, from mid-July on, including very loud cars and motorcycles or the disco at a neighboring campsite. If your apartment has air conditioning, you can shut out some of that noise and open the windows in the quieter early morning to let in fresh air. And take SPF 50 sunscreen. SPF 30 really only seems enough if you're used to the sun, as I learned the painful way 😀. For me, the location still earns full marks.

A secure residence that's kept in very good condition. I found it really pleasant.
