Hotel Kyriad Argenteuil

The service was quick and friendly, and the place was clean. Hot showers were nice too. The beds are quite hard, though, and you can clearly hear neighbors talking or sleeping, so bring earbuds.

I’d stay here again without hesitation because the man in charge is so kind. He changed our room when we asked and really tried to make us comfortable. Each time we came back, the experience felt humbling. This isn’t a neighborhood like Paris, of course. We skipped breakfast and only had drinks since we’re vegetarian. The restaurant has plenty of space and potential, and could be a nice stop for people who aren’t staying at the hotel, but it doesn’t feel professionally run yet. Even paying 10 euros for two cups of tea each morning, the servers kept forgetting the spoon, milk, or napkins, which got irritating.

The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and nicely updated. We stayed a little over a week, and this was the best value we could find. Breakfast was great too. We’ll definitely come back.

The location was actually pretty good, and the parking area felt secure and worked well for our car. Still, I was disappointed with a lot of things. Room service and attendance were poor. At one point, someone entered our room thinking we’d checked out while we were still in bed, without checking their records first.
