We chose Le Cloître for a one-night stay and booked the junior suite because it was the only room advertised with AC. Keep that in mind if you’re visiting in warm weather and considering another room. The suite was excellent, though a fridge and more bathroom counter space would’ve been nice. I really liked the modern furnishings and design throughout the hotel. Reception was very friendly, and the staff spoke very good English. The hotel’s well placed for exploring on foot, so instead of eating at the restaurant just outside, which looked great, my partner and I went for an evening walk through the old town and got dinner along the way. We had a great stay and would return or recommend it to friends.

The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly, and breakfast was delicious. We were close to the historical attractions, shops, and restaurants, and the WiFi worked well too. My family stayed at this quiet little hotel tucked between houses on a narrow street. My brother and I shared a double room and both slept very well. It had everything we needed, including a comfortable bathroom. The high ceilings, tiled floors, and tasteful colors looked lovely, with modern decor throughout.

Le Cloître gave me a calm place to come back to after a long day, and I enjoyed a big, lovely breakfast there the next morning. I was visiting during peak tourist season, the photography festival, and a heat wave, but the hotel made sure there was a small AC unit in my room. It felt like a welcoming oasis in Arles, tucked away from the bustle while still just steps from everything I wanted to explore. I loved my stay and can’t wait to return to Arles.

India Mahdavi decorated the rooms and shared spaces with colorful, modern furniture and details that work beautifully with the historic architecture. Everything was lovely, and the staff were lovely too. I stayed at the Hotel du Cloître for two days with my mum and had a wonderful time. It’s very central, with all the Arles attractions within walking distance. Just note that there’s no parking, and the road it’s on is closed to traffic.
