The room was clean, the bed was great, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The shower was a bit tiny. It’s about a 20-minute walk from Arles city center, with easy access from the highway. There’s free parking, enclosed at night from 21.30. I’d recommend it for a short stay.

We had clean rooms, the towels were there, and breakfast tasted good, so basically everything was OK. They should provide some basic toiletries, like soap. I’d definitely stay here again.

For a budget accommodation, I was very satisfied. The service was good and smiling, the breakfast was good, and we had a clean bed, a secure door with a code, and parking. I was traveling with my family, but I’d also recommend this place to women traveling alone.

We booked this because it was the only place available on a busy night in peak season, and we were only going to spend a little time in the room. It was cheap, but I don’t think any hotel should operate in this condition. The room smelled as soon as we walked in. My fiancée said it smelled of smoked salmon. The bathroom was even worse, like a public toilet, a portakabin, and somehow the toilet on a dirty ferry between islands in Asia. The smell was unbearable. The flush barely worked in our room, and didn’t work at all in the downstairs public bathroom. The place was dirty and stank. There’s no lift either, though that didn’t bother us. If I were Ibis, I’d shut it until it was brought up to the standard people expect from their name on a building. Avoid it until it’s properly refurbished.
