Jules Cesar Hotel & Spa Arles Mgallery Collection

The dinner service was slow and inattentive, even though my wife, our friend, and I were the only diners. The server was kind, but spent long stretches talking to people outside the restaurant. We were on holiday with a friend who was traveling solo, and our friend was given an upgraded room. We were put in a handicap accessible room without anyone asking if that suited us. I’m 188cm tall, and my wife is tall for a woman, so everything in the room was too low. For example, the makeup mirror was at my wife’s navel level. The shower had no door, so water went everywhere. We were very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

The breakfast charge for a poached egg really got me, especially at a hotel this overpriced. The minibar was empty, there was no desk, and the shower barely had any pressure. This place was awful and should be avoided at all costs.

We were just a few steps from the old city center, and the pool was lovely when it wasn't too crowded. The restaurant was very good and the staff were genuinely friendly. Rooms were comfortable, though a few details could use an update to meet newer standards. I also liked how the design varied from room to room.

The staff were helpful, and the location made for an enjoyable stay. Our room was a bit small. What let the hotel down was the mini fridge: it had still and sparkling water plus a couple of juices, but nothing was replenished. In every other French hotel we stayed at, the still water was replaced each day.
