Logis Hôtel Le Rodin

One of the bikes we rented here had a small issue, and the host gave me a full refund for it. They also welcomed me into the restaurant, where I was happy to spend hours enjoying the atmosphere and service. The staff were lovely and generous, even offering coffee and treats. I recommend the place!

There’s plenty of parking, which is a real plus if you’re driving, and the hotel has bikes for rent. I wish I’d used one, since it’s a healthy walk into the central district. My stay was taken up with fixing my own travel plans, and the desk staff were extremely helpful. Arles buses run infrequently on weekends and there was only one Uber driver available in town, so I appreciated their help sorting out the trouble. The hotel itself is well appointed and the guest service is excellent.

The mosquito situation was a nightmare: there were more than 30 across the ceiling, and housekeeping left a can of Raid spray for guests to use. The room wasn’t clean, and it was really annoying. They also had the air conditioning locked so only the fan worked, which made the room very hot at night. The bathroom had no wet and dry separation. On the plus side, the front desk was welcoming and friendly, parking behind the gate was secure, and downtown was a 15-minute walk away. Definitely not recommended.

The hotel is a peaceful retreat about a 15-minute walk from the gates of the old town, with secure parking. Parking is free only if you book directly with the hotel; otherwise it costs €10 per day. There’s no elevator, so reaching a top-floor room means taking the stairs, which was a challenge with the family room I booked for my aunties. Even so, we had a delightful, relaxing stay at LOGIS HOTEL LE RODI, and I’d recommend it for a pleasant visit to Arles. It’s a charming three-star hotel in a forest setting with green key certification. We arrived on a scorching day to a warm welcome from staff who spoke English, then headed straight to the lovely pool. The rooms aren’t luxurious, but they have what you need for a comfortable stay, including a kettle and fridge. Staff also gave us helpful advice about dining in Arles and public transport.
