The location was the only positive. Reception was very poor, the rooms were run-down, and I left the next morning covered in spots and itching. Parking comes with strict hours too, so you have to plan around them. You can’t drop off or pick up a vehicle between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so welcoming, with really useful tips for restaurants and things to see around Arles. We stayed in a charming former private mansion right in the center, which made for a lovely overnight stay.

Espelunca!!! The staff were really unpleasant, and the hotel was awful. They charged me a lot more for a room they called “better,” and I felt cheated. There was no WIFI. I spent 40 days traveling around Europe and stayed in some bad hotels, but this was the worst.

We were pleasantly surprised to find our room had been upgraded. It was comfortable and pleasant, and the hotel made a great base for exploring the city.
