I had a business lunch at the restaurant and stayed overnight at Chambres du Fil Rouge on March 11, 2025. The restaurant has a stylish setting, and the menu was just right, with something for everyone among the homemade dishes. I also enjoyed the more intimate, less industrial feel of the overnight stay compared with a big hotel. A very good place to eat and stay. I’ll definitely be back.

Marie gave us a wonderful welcome. Breakfast was lovely, with quality products, homemade jam, fresh baguette, and an excellent croissant. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was very nice too. There’s parking nearby, even right across the street. A truly lovely establishment.

Our hosts were so attentive, and served up a fresh, delicious breakfast. We stayed two nights in the Wool Room, and it was a wonderful stay: impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, spacious, and with perfect bedding. We also enjoyed a glass of wine in their ground-floor restaurant, with a beautiful view of Place Saint Vaast. Don’t hesitate!

The owner was so welcoming and friendly, and kindly accepted my reservation at 7:30 p.m. for 8 p.m.! I spent three days in the Coton room, which is large and bright, with a pleasant shower. It feels like home. The restaurant downstairs is really pleasant too. I highly recommend it.

The owners are delightful, and the breakfast they serve in the morning is delicious, with pastries, coffee, and baguette, everything you could ask for. This was my second stay at Les Fil Rouge rooms, and I was just as satisfied as last time. I’d already tried the wool room, and the cotton room is just as lovely, impeccably clean, and has a super comfortable bed. What a wonderful bed! 😍 If you’re in the area, you absolutely must try it!
