Hôtel Inn Design & Restaurant Le Mans

Isabelle, the French hostess, gave us a very warm welcome. Her English was limited, but she still managed to explain the practical details we needed. She was hospitable throughout, even bringing us cold water one evening while we were sitting downstairs. The rooms were nice and clean.

The building is a basic budget hotel, but the beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. The towels were clean too, though quite rough and a little old. We stopped for one night on our way south; the location was good and not too hard to find. The receptionist, manager, and breakfast chef were all the same person, Jihame, and she ran the place by herself. She was amazing, helpful, and attentive, and made the stay a pleasure. Breakfast was okay, with a decent range of basic budget hotel food. The restaurant only served breakfast, so we had to go elsewhere for a meal. We'd stay again just to see Jihame. Mireille and Frank 🤗

We were given the accessible room even though we hadn't asked for it or needed it. It was handy for bringing in our bags since it was on the ground floor, but I'm fussy and would have preferred a room on a higher floor. It was spacious enough for three people and a dog.

The place was dirty everywhere. The towels were really old and smelled bad, and there was mold and dead spiders on the ceiling. The rooms were much smaller than they looked in the pictures.
