We stopped at the lemon Hotel to split up our trip from Manchester to Paris. It was very inexpensive, and the facilities were extremely basic. The cigarette smell wasn't great, but there were lots and lots of well-cared-for cats all around the outside of the building, which we loved. Fab.

For the price, it was clean, friendly, and quiet. The facilities were okay, and even though some toilets were out of order, there were still plenty available. I'd give it five stars if that wouldn't mislead people. It's not amazing, but what do you expect at that price?

The bed and amenities were functional. Staff were friendly, and it's a basic hotel for what you pay. There was only a sink in the room, with the WC and showers in separate cubicles.

The rooms felt old and a bit dirty and dusty, with a stain on the wall and lots of hair in the bed. The staff were nice and helpful, though.

It was okay, a cheap, clean hotel as long as you don't expect too much. The bed could have been better, though.
