Hôtel Le Milie Rose

The hotel is on a narrow street with real character, and from the balcony you can see the real Paris. Central attractions are walkable in about 30-45 minutes, with a supermarket, cafes, and bars within a five-minute walk. The rooms are very modern, and I’d stay here again. We spent five nights here over Xmas 2025. The hotel and service were excellent, and the breakfast buffet set us up for the day. Staff kindly let us check in a little early since we were all jetlagged, and they always greeted us when we came and went.

The location didn’t feel like the best neighborhood to me, whatever other reviews may say. Our clean, simple room was on the first floor at street level, so we couldn’t open the blinds without people being able to peer in. My husband and I enjoyed our stay otherwise.

The location was excellent, in a lively area full of restaurants and bakeries, with the underground about a five-minute walk away. The rooms were small but nice, and the staff were very friendly. Daily cleaning was excellent. We didn’t try the breakfast. There’s an extra tax of just under €8.50 per night. I’d say the four-star rating may be one star too generous, since there’s no sauna, wellness area, or hotel bar.

Our son was playing across the street at The New Morning Jazz Club, which was our only reason for picking this hotel for a short Paris break. Looking back, we couldn’t have found a better place. It’s beautifully decorated, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again.
