We were there with children and felt extremely unsafe. At 4am a man next door woke us by shouting aggressively, and the hallway stank of marijuana. The other people staying there seemed to be dodgy men. When I tried to complain to reception, they basically didn’t care at all, which made it seem like this might be common. Avoid this place.

A good one night stop on the way back from Disneyland Paris before catching the Calais ferry in the morning. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. We arrived after reception had closed, but the automatic check-in worked fine for both rooms. If you’re late, you can park outside the gates where there are plenty of spaces, then use the pedestrian entrance and walk through the car park to the foyer. Enter your name and booking number at the ATM type machine to get your room codes, which also open the front gate. There’s no tea or coffee in the rooms, but there are vending machines in reception. No electric car chargers yet, though it looks like installation work is underway, and there were charging options nearby. All in all, a good stay, and a slightly better all round hotel than, say, an Ibis.

It was a good stop for me after a long drive, since the hotel is close to the motorway and a little over an hour from Calais. The price seemed reasonable, and adding breakfast was great value. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly.

We’d stayed with this chain before, so we knew to expect a clean, comfortable room without frills. This was a very convenient overnight stop on our way back to the ferry, just over an hour from Calais and 50% cheaper than similar places in Calais. The family room was a great price. There’s plenty of parking and check-in was quick and straightforward. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent before we set off.
