8/10
We had a lovely view over one of the town’s baroque squares. The hotel looks appealing from outside and has a modern feel inside, though the room was compact, just enough space for us, our bags, and a double bed. Breakfast was adequate, but I’d have preferred proper coffee instead of the machine. We enjoyed our one-night stay.

The main square is only a quick two-minute walk away, and the staff made us feel welcome. It’s a basic, budget-friendly hotel. Our room was clean but dated, dim, and stuffy; the fan provided helped with that. Breakfast felt expensive for the limited selection, so nearby cafés and bakeries are probably a better choice.

It has a small hostel-like feel, and the rooms are very clean. They aren’t modern, but that suits the building, which is the oldest one on the square. We had a nice garden room.

10/10
The room was quiet and the bed comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful. The staff were kind, the location was perfect, and it was excellent value for money. A wonderful stay.

There are lots of places to eat nearby, including the hotel. It’s a lovely little place right on the square, though keep an eye on the parking cost.
