We came to see the WW1 memorials and other sites around the Somme, and Le Dome Hotel was ideally placed for an easy walk to Arras town square. The hotel is beautiful, spotless and modern in its decor. The couple running it were lovely and happy to help with anything. Their English was about as good as our French, but we managed without a problem. Our room had everything we needed, was clean and well presented, with a brilliant shower and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was the usual continental kind, served in a lovely dining room, and there was plenty of it. The car park is tight because of the old buildings’ layout, which is out of their hands. You might struggle in a big Range Rover, but a 2CV will be fine. The adjoining restaurant is run by the same people and has a pleasant, clean look. The food was lovely, if a little expensive; the specials board was better value. I’d definitely go back.

A small, well-equipped hotel toward the station, with a huge bed and the usual breakfast. It’s also accessible for disabled guests.

The rooms have been modernised nicely, with an excellent bed and a good shower. It’s easy to find and get to from the main road, and the location is good. There’s space for 2-3 cars on site. Breakfast seemed a little expensive, but there was plenty of food, enough for us to make cheese and ham rolls for lunch.

We stayed three nights in a large room at a great price while travelling back to GB after a holiday in Italy. The hotel’s very close to central Arras and has private parking on site. The bed was comfortable, the linens were good quality and the shower was excellent. The room was cleaned daily. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a spacious deluxe room, with a comfortable bed and a great shower, and the whole hotel was absolutely spotless. The grounds have parking, and the location is great, just a five-minute walk to the town centre’s shops and restaurants. My wife and I stayed three nights at the Dome on our way to Calais. We enjoyed it and would gladly return.
