For what you pay, it’s alright. I was there in August and it was warm. The biggest annoyance was having pots and pans but no stove, just a microwave. Also, three of the five beds are in the kitchen, and two are only screened off by a curtain, so if someone gets up early, sleeping in is out of the question.

The Pyrenees scenery was fantastic, with grasslands, lakes, cascades, and more. I had a perfect three days in Arrens Marsous. Andrea M. was a friendly host, and the apartment felt cozy, with a lovely spot to sit on the terrace or in the garden. I’d recommend staying here while visiting the Pyrenees.

The half-board meals were the one disappointment for us. Maybe we caught an off day, but there was boxed soup, industrial cheese served in its plastic wrapping, sliced industrial bread, and rusks for breakfast. With a well-equipped kitchen and a supermarket only a few minutes away on foot, the option didn’t seem worthwhile. That aside, we really liked this clean, quiet, comfortable gîte on the GR10. We slept well, and there’s a large shower room.
