Pascal was a big help with advice on choosing a caterer and suggesting walks around Lac du Der, which is well worth visiting. The cottage itself was even nicer than the photos suggested: spacious, spotless, well equipped, and peaceful. We had an excellent weekend with the family and would definitely come back.

We came for five nights specifically to see the cranes, and had a wonderful stay at Le Deroscope. Pascal kept in touch with us on WhatsApp beforehand, and communication with the owner was good. The house is in a quiet part of the charming village of Arrigny, and the photos show it accurately. It’s spacious, clean, and works well for groups. The beds were already made and comfortable. Everything was provided: dishwasher, washing machine, large American-style fridge/freezer, coffee makers, kettle, oven, and microwave. There’s a bakery around the corner with delicious fresh bread, croissants, cakes, and pastries every day, and the local pizzeria serves delicious food too.

A cozy cottage that feels just like home, beautifully decorated with great taste. The owners are wonderful. We highly recommend staying here.

The owners were helpful and attentive, and we had a really pleasant family stay at Deroscope. The cottage was very comfortable and clean. There’s foosball and arcade games for rainy days, or to unwind and have fun after a walk. We had a very good experience and would gladly return.
