The campsite was quiet when I visited in mid-June, since it was outside peak season and not very busy. I spent two nights there on my own while touring by bike with a tent. The grass was in good condition, the facilities were modern and spotless, and the price was very reasonable.

There’s a lovely pool and a playground for kids, plus a restaurant with a great menu. The site has plenty of activities nearby, Wi-Fi and free parking. It’s in La Tremblade, about a 10-minute drive from the beach. The room I rented didn’t have a dishwasher or toilet, so we had to use the shared facilities. Super place, amenities and atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back.

The pool is lovely, and there’s a cute little bar serving drinks and snacks. The campsite itself is clean, well cared for, and has a very friendly feel. It’s become one of our favourites, and I hope we get to return. It’s a beautiful spot in a lovely location, so don’t let the bad reviews put you off.

The couple who run this lovely campsite are wonderful. There’s a supermarket just across the road, and you can order bread for the next morning.

The kids had a great time and made friends, especially while playing in the pool. We found plenty to do in the area, and the photos really don’t show how nice the campsite is. It’s a small, friendly place for families, and the owners were polite, fun, and went out of their way to help us.
