The homemade breakfast was a real treat: granola, madeleines, seeded bread, and jams, all made by the hostess. It felt like a royal spread, especially for me 🤣. We spent three lovely days with Marion and Benoît, enjoying warm weather, the magnificent pool with its view over nature, and even a little squirrel for company. The place is near St Jean de Luz and Col d'Ibardin. I highly recommend it.

Maison Xori Kanta is a lovely place for a peaceful stay. The hosts are welcoming and helpful, and the pool tucked into nature is beautiful. I highly recommend it.

We got so many great tips for places to visit, and the mattresses were fantastic, soft as cakes. It was my first stay in a guesthouse, and I absolutely loved it. The house is spotless, and the meals use local ingredients and are cooked with love. Breakfasts were excellent, with homemade madeleines and afternoon tea too. Marion and Benoît are so friendly, and we had convivial meals and lovely conversations with them. Marion cooks everything from appetizers to dessert, and it was all delicious, from lemon tart, Basque cake, and cheesecake to tuna lasagna and beef axoa, her own twists on traditional recipes. The house feels full of happiness and is so peaceful, with birdsong breaking the quiet. My godfather and I spent a few days there. The only trouble was that Marion's kitchen was so tempting, and the food so good, it was hard to leave without a few pounds of treats. I highly recommend it to everyone. We had dinner with Marion, the hosts, and the other guests, and the three-course meal with drinks was delicious. Sharing meals also led to interesting conversations, advice, and ideas for sights and activities. The house is in a lovely quiet spot surrounded by nature, with only a few other homes nearby. Ascain is about 5 km away and has restaurants, a bakery, and a grocery store. Our double room was in a beautiful house, and we shared a bathroom and a TV lounge with balcony with another couple. We could also relax on the terrace or by the pool, which is brand new and lit up in the evenings. Marion and Benoit are cheerful, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast is included too. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

The tapas were excellent, and I’m already planning to come back this summer with my family. We had a wonderful time with Marion and Benoît, and the rooms were very comfortable in a beautiful natural setting. Thanks again for the delicious homemade dinner and breakfast, and for all the sightseeing tips.
