After a day on the trails, it was lovely to have the pool and spa to unwind in. The place is about a 15-minute walk from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, and this was my second stay. I’m already hoping to come back. The owners and staff are kind and really attentive, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is generous, and the food is very good, with the quality you’d expect from a gourmet restaurant. There’s also a self-service fridge stocked with different drinks. You just note what you take, all on trust. A great base for hiking. I highly recommend it. Best wishes!

The breakfast was generous and excellent, and our themed room was really pretty. The jacuzzi helped us recover after all those miles on foot. We were the only guests, but the hosts still gave us a wonderful welcome. The location works well for hiking, including trails like Artzamendi, Mondarrain, and Baigura. For me, everything was spot on. A great place to stay.

The hike was a real highlight: our guide was knowledgeable, professional, and very patient, and managed the group thoughtfully. We learned a lot and got to take in all the beautiful scenery the region has to offer. Back at the accommodation, the rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and it was quiet with no noise bothering us. The whole team was friendly, efficient, and respectful of guests, with a lovely sense of togetherness and real passion for what they do. We were well looked after at every meal, from breakfast through dinner. Everything was carefully prepared, and the dishes were exceptional, with the Basque Country clearly reflected in each one. It was a very pleasant stay, and I’d recommend RESPYRENÉES without hesitation. It’s worth the detour. Thanks for such a nice stay!

The meals were exceptional, beautifully presented, and typical of the Basque Country. Service was impeccable, and the fresh, locally sourced ingredients were a real plus. I especially liked the homemade yogurt at breakfast. Our room was comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, and had a mountain view. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi in the relaxation area. The team clearly puts a lot of energy into what they do and went above and beyond. Our guide Benoît was professional and very friendly, took an interest in everyone in the group, and knew the trails and hikes well. He made sure we had a great time. I highly recommend the RESPYRENEES team. Nothing but good things to say!
