L'Hôtel Particulier

The breakfasts were amazing, with fresh-squeezed orange juice, baguette, croissants, jams, eggs, cheeses, and more. The hotel is also in a town with fantastic restaurants, and it’s only a short train ride into downtown Paris. What really made our stay, though, were the hosts. They were so attentive, helped us plan our travels, and shared their own recommendations. The care felt very personal. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had, and a must-stay when visiting Paris.

Working as the makeup artist on the February photo shoot at this magnificent hôtel particulier was such a memorable opportunity. The historical elegance and refined chic made the looks feel magical, and the luxurious interiors and gentle natural light brought out the beauty of the moment. I’m grateful to have worked with such dedicated professionals; we had a real sense of unity, and our bold ideas could flourish. The owners were delightful and so helpful, and breakfast was exceptional, all organic and homemade. We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house just outside Paris, with easy transport into the capital. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated, and even had Nuxe toiletries. Highly recommended.

The owner couple made us feel right at home, and even shared sightseeing highlights off the beaten path along with restaurant recommendations. The area has a suburban feel but some great places to eat, including Poulette and Modjo. The hotel may technically be outside Paris, but it’s just a 5-minute train ride to St. Lazare. Our freshly renovated room was clean, had A/C, USB chargers, and Bluetooth speakers. Breakfast was organic and made to suit what you wanted.
