The location was the one real plus of the apartment we rented for four people. There was potential, but the cleaning fee we paid through Booking clearly wasn't reflected in the state of the place, and the lack of care put us off returning. Dust was everywhere. The cutlery, cups, and glasses were very dirty, and the bedding and bath towels had lots of questionable stains, including what looked like blood on the sofa, pillows, and duvets. There were very few kitchen utensils, no salt, pepper, or paper towels, and only two rolls of toilet paper. The microwave wasn't plugged in, was positioned so it blocked access to any socket, and had a burn mark on top. There was also a screw sticking out of a step, which felt dangerous to walk past.

Everything we needed was in the apartment, and its central spot meant we could walk everywhere. It’s modern and lovely, with courtyard access and a balcony. The two air conditioning units were especially welcome in summer. One catch: the parking spaces in the courtyard can’t be used, so I wouldn’t come by car.

We found the apartment bright, welcoming, and practical. The building felt very secure, with amenities right outside and the port and Promenade des Anglais nearby.

A well-kept apartment that’s just right for two. It can sleep four with the sofa bed, but that bed is really uncomfortable.

Everything was organized impeccably, and the accommodation had all the essentials, including two air conditioners. We got help with everything. Excellent.
