The room was spacious, and so was the bathroom, though the decor felt a little dated. Still, that shouldn’t put you off. This is a very good three-star property, and when we had a small issue, a very friendly man at reception put it right. Lourdes is only a short drive away.

I rented an apartment for a few days and wasn’t aware that staff from the residence lived there. It felt more like a place made up of private apartments. From what I’ve seen in other people’s comments, the experience seems to depend a lot on which apartment you get. I paid quite little, and got what I paid for. The pool wasn’t open, and neither was the restaurant. The location is very good, especially if you need an apartment for skiing, cycling, or hiking in the area. Just expect to need a car for everything.

The breakfast was simple but very good, with freshly baked croissants and bread, and the person serving it was kind and helpful. We also got a very warm welcome from the young man at reception, who explained everything and shared some useful tips. The residence is easy to reach and has a certain charm as an old building. Our room was simple but perfectly adequate for one night, and we really appreciated having a bathtub. We’d gladly come back.
