easyHotel Paris Nord Aubervilliers

At €100 a night, this felt like very poor value. The room itself was clean, but breakfast cost too much for a limited selection. There was no daily cleaning unless you paid an extra €15, and we asked several times for a hair dryer but never got one. You can find much better places in Paris for the same price. I don't recommend it.

The receptionists were very accommodating, though I'm sorry I can't remember the names of the three I spoke with. I would certainly stay here again when I'm back in Paris. The M-12 station, Front Populaire, is literally across from the hotel and wheelchair accessible, though getting into Paris takes about 45 minutes and two trains. The hotel is in a secluded northern area outside Paris, with a convenience store, a couple of restaurants, and a boulangerie nearby. The buffet breakfast is decent, and there are vending machines in the lobby. My room had air conditioning, but only bath gel was provided, with no other toiletries. There was no kettle, teacups, or glass in the room, and no in-room phone. You can borrow a hairdryer and iron from reception. There isn't laundry on site, though there's a facility some distance away.

I've stayed here twice, and the staff have always been friendly. I know they've helped other guests order taxis and with travel advice. There's a metro station very close by that goes straight to central Paris. I also liked the nearby bakeries, and there are restaurants, a pizza truck, and a convenience store around the hotel. The rooms are always very clean and have what you need. They're maybe a little small, but for the price I can't complain. I think it's great and would happily stay again. Maybe I'll take pictures and update this review next time :)

We stayed cold the whole time, even after being moved to another room. The heating was the problem: our room was so cold that the lobby and corridors felt noticeably warmer. We reported it, and the staff were helpful and moved us, but the new room wasn't any warmer. The location is excellent, close to the metro, and the staff took care of all our requests. For what it offers, the price is very reasonable.
