We slept incredibly well here. The rooms are lovely, clean, comfortable, and genuinely quiet, and the owners made us feel at home. It's easy to find, and almost everything in Aubusson is within an easy walk. Erik knew so much about the area and made me the best cup of coffee I had on the whole trip. The continental breakfast was excellent as well. There's safe private parking off the street, which you don't often get at small French hotels. If outside light bothers you, the shutters do work, just open the window and pull them closed for a total blackout. This little boutique hotel was top notch all around. I'd give it six stars if I could. Highly recommended!

Eric & Lisette are so accommodating. They're happy to help with anything. Meals are offered on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings, and the rooms are generally large and well kept. Breakfast is ordered the day before, which means no waste. There's parking at the back, plus a ground floor room at the rear with its own terrace opening onto the garden. A disabled room is on the first floor, accessed from the street at the front. It's about a 10-minute walk to the town center. There's a railway line by the parking access, but we only heard a couple of trains, and none overnight. We've already been twice and would happily come back.

A friendly, welcoming owner made us feel at ease. The room was really clean, and surprisingly quiet despite being next to a road. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom had Rituals products that smelled delicious. The decor is minimalist, and rather un-French. A lovely place to stop during a trip across France.

A great little hotel, an easy walk from the town centre. The couple who run it are really lovely, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and there's private parking.
