Auberge Audressein

The room had lots of thoughtful little touches 😊😋. The hostel was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the welcome was simple, genuine, and so kind. Thanks so much for looking after us.

For €64, it was acceptable. The bedding was comfortable, but sound carried easily through the hotel, and our room had a shared toilet on the landing, like in the old days. Breakfast was fairly standard. The building is beautiful and must have been a lovely hotel decades ago, but it seems not to have been touched in 40 years. The restaurant had to close during the pandemic, which is a shame since its reviews were very good.

The river nearby is a real pleasure. It’s very clean and has an authentic feel, though a little dated. Good value for one or two nights.

The view and the quiet made it feel like a little oasis of peace, a moment outside of time. It was a dream birthday present. From the warm welcome to the spotless room, everything felt like a perfect cocoon. Delicious breakfasts too, and the hostess was as lovely and charming as she was kind. Thank you so much.
