A comfortable place to stay in a charming little mountain village where pigs and cows roam freely in the streets. The restaurant has traditional Corsican dishes at fair prices, and the owner and staff make you feel at home. Excellent value.

We came across this lovely spot in the Corsican mountains while heading to Ajaccio. The owner was warm and helpful, and the restaurant turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The hams, cheeses, and pork dishes were all delicious. The owner raises his own pigs for production, and the food has a real taste of Corsica. A must-try if you visit.

We’re fussy about good food and enjoy cooking ourselves, so we were delighted by dinner here. Nearly all the produce is grown organically on the owner’s farm, and the daily menu changes, with courses you can combine to suit your preferences. We heard about the place from the woman who runs the mule barn in the neighboring village. If you like proper home-cooked food, you’ll probably enjoy it too. We can highly recommend it.

We also stayed at Chambres d'Hôtes, where breakfast was a very generous spread served around a big table. The restaurant was busy, especially on Sunday, so it’s best to book then. We ate there for both lunch and dinner, and each meal exceeded our expectations. The friendly people serve well-prepared classic Corsican dishes, sometimes with a surprising twist, using homemade ingredients. There’s a very good wine list too.

We stopped here on a whim and had one of the best burgers ever. Lovely setting too, with a great mountain view.
