The cottage was lovely and excellent value for money. We had no other complaints, but did feel rushed when we found out at 9:50 am that the cleaning lady was due at 10:00. We hurried to get ready and check out. We’d expected checkout to be at 11:00, so it would have helped to know the latest time earlier.

We’d happily come back. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were very clean, and everything was tastefully decorated. We had a superb night in this gîte, just as we had in the other one, "Le Vélocipède," two weeks earlier. The Wi-Fi was a small drawback: temperamental and, above all, unsecured. I tried connecting through a VPN, but it didn’t work. A big thank you to the owner for not holding our dog’s accidental pee against us. That was really kind of her.
