Lakeside Maisonette Retreat

It was okay.

The area is quiet and nicely located, and the pool is lovely. But cleanliness didn't meet the standard I expected from Lagrange Vacances. This was our second holiday booking with Lagrange Vacances, and we've been disappointed by the cleanliness again: stained pillows and mattress, plus cobwebs. There were spiders too, which is a real problem for me because I have a phobia. What a shame. I won't book with Lagrange Vacances again.

The rooms at Lagrange, Les Terrasses du Lac are spacious and pleasant, though the accommodation overall is quite small. It's a peaceful location, but how quiet it is depends a bit on how close you are to the neighboring campsite. That campsite is handy for its convenience store and evening entertainment. Some things could use updating: Wi-Fi doesn't reach everywhere, 4G/5G reception is poor, the TV could be replaced, water pressure is low, and the street lighting isn't always on at night. The pool isn't heated either. Still, we had a peaceful stay, though the amenities could be more modern.

The staff were friendly and there when needed. Privacy was a drawback, since the view looks over the neighboring campsite and the terraces of other accommodations. There aren't many outlets in the bedrooms, and there's only one bedside lamp for two people. If you need to use an appliance at night, bring a power strip. You have to ask reception for a kettle, hairdryer, or toaster, which is a shame since those things aren't included in the apartment.
