The breakfast was a lovely start to the day, served at a round table in the dining hall alongside the other guests. Our room was bound to be splendid, and the host greeted us at the door and showed us in when we arrived. You can even come by helicopter, as the château has its own landing ground. The owner was one of the sweetest, friendliest castle hosts I’ve met in ages. It’s a beautiful hillside château, and I’d recommend this very tasteful place.

The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, and breakfast was great. Service was excellent too. The hotel’s in a super location, with lovely walks into the nearby village where there’s a wide choice of restaurants. What more do you need?

Eric, the owner, was incredibly helpful. The Château is a beautiful old place, furnished with period pieces, and sits in a lovely setting.
