We stopped in for tea, and the food was delicious with friendly staff. The main dining room echoes, so it can get noisy.

The menu covers lots of different kinds of food, from pasta and curry to steak, and the prices make it especially good. Chef Fabrice’s food is really tasty. It’s a cozy restaurant and bar right by the slopes in the small town of Auris-en-Oisans. Justine and Jarn took great care of us. Would recommend!

We only came for a meal and didn’t stay here. Everyone enjoyed their food: I had a burger, while the others ordered steak, duck, salmon, and other fish. We waited a little while, though the restaurant was full and we were a large group, so that may explain it. The beers were delicious, the wines were good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The restaurant has a fairly modern feel, and we had dinner there during our one-night stay. Our room was a little old, but fine. The raclette was a hassle: staff kept plugging the machines into the same outlets as the lamps, causing several power cuts across the restaurant. The cheese took ages to melt, which made the meal pretty chaotic, and we weren’t offered any compensation.

I ordered my entrecote medium and it came blue rare. They didn’t offer to take anything off the bill, discount the steak, or bring me another one. It’s an expensive place, but the food quality is average at best. Other places have nicer deals.
