Hôtel Restaurant - Les Jardins du Lac

We left without ordering anything. The restaurant service was awful and unwelcoming, and the staff member didn't know the wine list and told us to go look at it ourselves. Just bad.

Breakfast was plentiful, with everything we could need, and the simple breakfast room had minimalist decor. Our room was clean, the bed was made up nicely, and although it faced the main road, the windows blocked the traffic noise well. A large parking lot was available. On our first day, a very accommodating gentleman gave us a pleasant welcome. The room was a bit small, with only a tiny wardrobe, but fine for a short stay. There weren't many electrical outlets, and two people had to share one bedside table.

I travel often for work, and I've never had this much trouble getting a basic invoice. I needed it to claim my expenses, but it still hadn't arrived when I went to submit them. I had to call several times, and the person answering the phone was very unpleasant. Each time I was told, “Yes, we'll send it, I haven't had time to take care of it.” The welcome had been rather cold, the rooms and bathrooms were very small and poorly laid out, and breakfast seemed expensive for what was offered. I couldn't get an invoice before leaving, though I was promised it would be emailed that day. It was a very bad experience for me.
