Marie Luce and Jerôme were friendly, pleasant hosts, and La Maison Sainte Barne is in an ideal spot at the heart of Autun's historic centre. My room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was homemade with quality ingredients. The building itself feels like stepping back in time. It's a great B&B, and I absolutely recommend it. I'll be back.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and we'd definitely return to this special place. We spent two nights at the charming historic Cistercian priory, tucked on a quiet street just steps from the cathedral and good restaurants. Our cheerful, clean rooms were tastefully furnished. A sunny garden with flowers and vine-covered walls made a peaceful place to relax. Breakfast came in a bright room, with a variety of fruit, drinks, breads, and cheeses.

The owners were charming and went well beyond what we expected when we arrived with a few problems. They helped sort them out quickly. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and we'd happily stay here again. The setting is magical: behind big oak doors there's a secret garden, tucked away on a small cobbled street in Autun's old town. It's a historic monastery with elegant rooms, high ceilings, and large ensuite bathrooms. One of the most beautiful places I've stayed.
