Everything felt just right for the weekend. The boat was beautiful, the weather sunny, and our hostess was kind and efficient. The location couldn’t have been better. I imagined I was living the van Goh experience. Pure delight, highly recommend.

We spent a romantic evening aboard Daphné's barge, a beautiful place to unwind and feel far from the everyday. Birdsong by the water was lovely. Our host welcomed us warmly, and I enjoyed chatting with him about books and culture. There's a small kitchen area for relaxing or cooking. In the morning, breakfast was generous and good: bread, croissant, butter, jam, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and farm goat cheese. The barge is in a quiet spot but well placed for enjoying Auvers sur Oise. I highly recommend it!

The cabins are laid out really well, and the barge itself is comfortable and pleasant. It’s a beautiful place. The kitchen, fridge, and dishwasher felt rather small for 10 people, which is the barge’s capacity. I would’ve appreciated a warmer welcome and a smile from the owner.

The welcome was so warm, and breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful weekend aboard the boat. We were lucky to be the only ones booked on a Saturday in January, which made for a fantastic time!
