The hosts were really friendly, and the location was perfect. Great value too. I only stayed one night and wished I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend it.

Such a lovely flat to unwind in and let your mind wander. The view is the best part!

I booked the apartment for that day, then arrived earlier than expected and politely asked if I could cancel without a fee right away. The person I spoke with refused: “I don't do cancellations; you knew the conditions when you booked.” I said that was true, but I had kept the room for him for 30 minutes and wasn't going to spend the night. I asked if he was really going to keep my €65 anyway. His reply was, “That's not my problem. Goodbye, sir.” He was within his rights, but as a business decision, I've seen more generous responses. Times are tough. Faced with €65 or a good review, the hotelier made his choice, and it wasn't in my favor.

At €80 a night with everything included, this is much better value than a hotel. The owners are very friendly, the apartment is ideally placed in Auxerre, and it has bed linen, towels, plus facilities for making breakfast. Coffee and tea are available too. Highly recommended for a stay.

A nice little studio, though the sink is pretty cracked. Being right in the city center means you can hear the street, and that's not the owners' fault. Bring earplugs and the nights are peaceful.
