Logis Hôtel Les Maréchaux

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the excellent service, even though the interior wasn’t top notch. A very nice hotel, with a lovely quiet garden and pool area.

The proprietor welcomed us warmly and quickly helped when we had a little car trouble, pointing us to a garage that got us sorted right away. Our room was cozy, with warm decor, a nice bathroom, and a comfortable bed. Rooms are named after Napoleonic era generals or marshals. We also used the garden pool, enjoyed the plentiful breakfast buffet, and appreciated the free still or sparkling water fountain in the lobby. WiFi was strong, and parking was free.

We spent two nights here in May at the end of our France tour and loved both the hotel and the city. The grounds are beautiful and park-like, with plenty of free parking. The pool wasn’t open yet, but looked fabulous. From the hotel it’s just steps to the spectacular old town and the gorgeous Yonne river, with lovely walking paths and bridges. It was easy to find from the main motorway, and once we arrived we didn’t need the car. Our room was spacious, with a modern bathroom, comfy bed, and a huge balcony. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice and healthy options like yogurt, granola, fruit, and eggs, plus those very tempting pastries. The proprietor was super friendly and helpful, and recommended two of the best restaurants we ate at in all of France. The hotel is being upgraded, but we weren’t disturbed at all. We’d absolutely stay again!

A very nice three-star hotel and a handy place to stop on a long drive from CDG to Provence. My ground-floor room was clean and spacious. There’s free parking on site, and the town center restaurants are a five-minute walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful.
