Villa Varco

The room was dirty, especially the toilet, and the shower was broken. The air conditioner was a separate unit with no proper drainage or ventilation, so its hose had to go over the bed and out through an open window. The WiFi was almost unusable, the kitchen oven was too dirty to use, and there were only four dining chairs for our family of six. Anyone over four people also has to put two guests on an awful sofa bed. The place itself is an old house in a deteriorating state. The outside garden was rubbish, with not a flower in sight, and the entrance is poor and on a busy street. It smelled indoors when we arrived, so we opened every window we could find for some fresh air. The restaurant shown in the pictures was actually a storage room for the owner's old things, and there was no breakfast. I regret not taking more pictures as evidence. The photos were misleading, including pictures of the beautiful Hotel de la ville, which is a different hotel. Maybe the previous owner is gone or something. He wasn't there when we arrived. After we left, he accused us of breaking the washing machine tap, even though the machine wasn't there, and charged us 60 euro for it. Google Street View blurs the garden.
