The meat was genuinely good, and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were very nice, but the service felt quite unprofessional. Meat portions were generous, while the sides, cheese, and dessert were really skimpy for the price.

We got there rather late for lunch, and the staff still made us feel welcome and fit me and my wife in. It was a lovely, relaxed meal, cooked over the open fire right beside our table. Thanks!

The garden was quiet and lovely, and the food was tasty, traditional fare. I’m coeliac, and there were plenty of gluten-free choices on the menu for dinner during my holiday in France. The woman who took our order, probably the owner, was kind and careful about explaining the options. Highly recommended!

We had a memorable meal with good friends, sitting in the shade of a weeping willow and other well-kept trees. The setting was beautiful, the cooking was great, and the service was friendly. Splendid experience, highly recommended.

The place is beautiful, and the staff were so welcoming 😊. Our room and bed were good, and we really enjoyed the excellent evening meal. It rained, so we couldn't look around, but we'll definitely be back. Breakfast was good too, coffee included. And the nuclear power station isn't that close, despite what some people like to moan about 🙄
