On the evening of June 22, 2023, another guesthouse was full, so we tried Le Cabanon without knowing what a wonderful place we were about to find. What luck that Patrice had a lovely room for us! The house is beautiful and has a calm, inspiring feel. Patrice Jania is a professional guitarist and singer-songwriter, and a wonderful person. That night, we got to hear him play on his street with a drummer friend for the Fête de la Musique (World Music Day). He lives there with his wife, who is also an artist, a sculptor and textile craftswoman. Le Cabanon is in a lovely medieval village well worth visiting. If you love music, art in its different forms, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, choose this place.

The hosts make this a warm, friendly place, and breakfast was delightful with guitar music. There are other nearby attractions for anyone who loves nature, so it’s especially worth a visit. Highly recommended.

The garden is magnificent, a perfect spot to unwind under the trees. I slept very well, and breakfast was lovely, with the host playing music. Thank you to the hostess.
