Acotel Confort

Avoid this hotel. The staff were very unfriendly, seemed interested in ripping us off, and didn’t speak English. They have EV chargers, but don’t tell you that each plug-in costs 20 Euros. If you arrive after reception shuts at 6 pm, you can’t charge the car overnight. They expect you to charge during the day and suggest public transport or waiting around at the hotel for hours until the car is full. You also can’t come and go while using the charger. Very unprofessional, and it felt like they didn’t care about guests or their needs.

There were bugs in the sheets, bathroom and on a shelf. The pool was filthy and impossible to swim in, which shows a serious lack of upkeep for a 3-star hotel. The hygiene here is questionable. I think they’d be better off having three people clean instead of three people greeting guests.

This review is only about the restaurant, where we had lunch after an advertising meeting, not the hotel. It was a huge disappointment: cafeteria food, plain and simple, and mass-produced.

The hotel was very quiet and conveniently located at the entrance to Orange, with direct access to the restaurant next door. We had a small issue with our room, but it was sorted out in just four minutes.
