The room was just right, with a small amenity desk stocked with milk, tea, coffee, sugar, and a kettle. There's also a coffee machine on the ground floor, and they serve breakfast. The hotel is clean and nice, about 15 minutes from the center. David greeted us at reception and was excellent at his job: communicative, polite, and professional. He also suggested local restaurants. When we checked out, a French woman was at reception and didn't speak a word of English, so there was no communication beyond leaving the key. It wasn't a big deal to me because David had welcomed us, but if I'd met her on arrival, I wouldn't have appreciated that attitude. It would be good if she knew even three words, like “thank you” and “have a nice day,” for guests checking out.

The space is cramped, and the place feels one step above camping, not far from living in a trailer. The shower water kept swinging between hot and cold. Our theory is that when someone flushes a toilet, even in another room, the cold water gets diverted to the toilet and the shower turns scorching. You could get burned partway through a shower. This place got one star only because that's the lowest rating available. Good luck to you.

The locks on the doors were so weak that I think one kick could break one open. After that awful trip, I found money missing from my wallet, which had been in my backpack in the room while I was out for dinner. I can't say for sure what happened, but I suspect something may have occurred there. Only the 50€ bill was taken from my Michael Kors wallet, nothing else. Why take that and leave the fancy wallet? I went with a group in July, and it was probably the worst experience of my life. It was 35 degrees outside, and my room, number 33, was right in the sun, but there was no AC. I told the receptionist, who was really rude, and he said there was obviously AC and that he'd come check my room later. He never did. We stayed just one night because I couldn't stand another. Breakfast was mediocre, just the basics, and the OJ was awful, so sour. I don't recommend staying there. The staff were rude, and there may be thieves there too. It was just awful.

GROSS. Mould was all over the bathroom, and dust came out of the AC and landed on the pillows. The most unhygienic place I've ever stayed.
