The surroundings were beautiful, and the accommodations were wonderful. Our host was very friendly, too. The place is just outside Avignon.

We always get such a warm welcome at La Bastide des Anges, and the rooms are very comfortable. Spending time there is a relaxing treat. The swimming pool is just the right size for a proper swim or a bit of lounging, and they clean it every day. During the Avignon Festival, the hosts also share their favorite plays. Bravo!

The pool was splendid in July, and lounging by it with the cicadas in the background was so peaceful. Breakfasts were excellent, varied, and generous. We’ve been coming back to the bastide several times during June, July, and August over the past year, and the hosts have become friends. The rooms are lovely and decorated beautifully. It’s a place we keep wanting to return to.
