Just the basics you need, and the staff are always ready to help. It's clean, if plain, and only a few minutes from the station. You can still get in easily when reception is closed.

The location is a real plus, close to the chateau and with a supermarket just around the corner. There’s private parking and breakfast is good. It’s quiet both inside and out, even with the window open, and the simple beds were comfortable to sleep in. The room did have some mold in the bathroom, and the renovation seemed to amount to a coat of paint. I’m fussy about cleanliness, but found it acceptable, just acceptable. I’d give it 3.5 stars, which is enough for a relatively budget friendly stay in the area, and I’d recommend it for that.

The mattress felt a bit too firm and the pillows too soft, though the bed still did the job. Rooms are basic. Getting there is easy since it’s close to the station, and there’s secure parking with an electric car charger.

The room was comfortable. The station is less than a 10 minute walk away, and a bus stop just 3 minutes from the hotel gets you to the city center or the castle.

The air-conditioning wasn’t working, and the bathroom door made a lot of noise whenever I opened or closed it. The location is handy for the train station, supermarket, and boulangerie.
