I knew very little about champagne before visiting Le Clos Corbier – Expériences en Maison de Champagne, so it was a wonderful first introduction. The staff were warm and clearly passionate, and Victoria made the guided tour especially memorable with her kind, enthusiastic explanations. The house is small, but full of care and love for champagne; the atmosphere feels intimate, authentic and charming. I was so caught up in the experience that I forgot to take photos because I didn’t want to miss anything. A friendly, unforgettable way to discover Champagne, and highly recommended.

My best friend and I thought this hotel and its staff were easily the best part of our Paris and Champagne trip. Charlotte, Joe and everyone else were wonderful. They made us feel looked after without hovering. We loved the delicious breakfast and appreciated having a garden room. The property is stunning, and the vines turn a gorgeous red in October. We’re excited to come back!

Kevin made the tour brilliant. He explained how champagne is produced in a clear, engaging way, connecting the process to this particular producer instead of just listing facts. The tour was followed by a tasting of three champagnes and an excellent, substantial lunch. We also had champagne with the starters, their red wine with the main course and ratafia with dessert.

The generous, delicious lunch made our visit feel complete, and the tasting was a great way to get to know the house and its wines. Le Clos Corbier is a calm, pleasant place in a beautiful Champagne setting. The guided tour was informative and engaging too. Special thanks to Charlotte, our excellent guide, who made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
