La Tour de Pérès

The honesty bar was well stocked with wine and some lovely Belgian beers, and the two friendly dogs were adorable. We spent a fantastic week here while visiting friends in Castera, just five minutes away. Herman and Chris made us feel so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were lovely, with plenty of variety, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and really well equipped. We’d thoroughly recommend this Chambre D'hôtes and will definitely return if we’re in the area again.

Breakfast was a real treat, with a lovely setting and a different surprise each day. We had such a great stay. Thank you both for creating such a special place in a lovely location.

The communal meal was a highlight, Chris and Herman are excellent cooks. Their warm welcome and thoughtful touches were much appreciated, and they managed to be discreet while still taking great care of us. The pool is lovely, and the internet worked well for Zoom meetings and Netflix on dreary days. The guesthouse is also well placed, only a few minutes from nearby villages and hiking trails. We’ll gladly return.

Chris and Herman gave us such a warm, attentive welcome and treated us like friends. We felt thoroughly spoiled. The room was superb, spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and air-conditioned, with a magnificent bathroom that made the place feel like a little paradise. Breakfast was excellent, with sweet and savory options, served in a wonderful setting. A big thank you to Chris and Herman. We’ll be very happy to come back and share this lovely place with others.
