THOM was incredibly kind and helped with anything I needed. The place is lovely and peaceful, and he was the best landlord. La Rochelle is pretty close, about 14min by bike, and the “marais doux” bus station is nearby too.

The pool and gardens were wonderful, and the quieter setting felt much more relaxing than a city hotel. Tom and Chantal made us feel welcome and were happy to help with anything. The beaches and isls nearby were fantastic. We had a great stay and will come back. Merci.

We loved how peaceful it was, with the garden, pool, wildlife, parking and secure feel. It's still well connected to La Rochelle, 4 mins by train or 5 mins by bus, and bikes are available to hire. Aytre Plage is popular with runners and cyclists, and the beach is beautiful. Tom & Chantal are lovely hosts and can tell you what's on. The place was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, and the guests were a varied bunch. It's quiet but connected, and really inexpensive. Highly recommend it. We'll be back.

The communal areas were first class, and the pool was really lovely. The hosts were very nice, and there are pleasant walks along the beachfront. Dogs are allowed too. If I'm in the area again, I'll try to stay here.
