The breakfast was a real highlight, with nearly everything homemade or thoughtfully sourced from local producers. The fresh, organic ingredients came through in every bite. Bernard, the Château's owner, made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. His warmth and clear love for the place and his work show throughout the experience. We left with unforgettable memories and would recommend this special place to anyone looking for something unique.

The hosts were so friendly and even helped us look for somewhere to have dinner, which isn't easy in France on 1st January. We only had one night here, unfortunately. The room was very spacious, with a lovely old-world warmth, and breakfast was made with very high-quality products. Two peacocks outside the window made it even more memorable. Everything was perfect, and we'd love to come back, maybe in spring.

The gardens are enormous, with a pond, horses in a paddock, lush lawns, and peacocks wandering around as you stroll. It felt like being an aristocrat. Bernard lives onsite and runs the place himself, giving it a personal touch. He's pursued his dream of renovating and running this old-time chateau, and has done a truly excellent job. We stayed two nights and would have stayed longer if we'd known what the place was like. We almost wanted to keep it secret for our next visit, but Bernard deserves recognition for making us feel so warmly received.

The grounds had a lot more variety than I expected, from the vegetation to the Romantic-Era surroundings, including towers, ponds, and a cave. There was wildlife around too. We had a nice walk on the well-kept path, and the welcome and atmosphere were absolutely excellent.

Incredible bedrooms, hosts, and breakfasts, really, incredible everything! 10/10, would recommend to anyone who gets the opportunity.
