The rooms and facilities have all been renovated, so the place feels like home, and the host is welcoming, always smiling, and there to make the stay easy. The building dates from the 12th century, and the local-produce breakfast was amazing. Definitely an address to try for a taste of the French art de vivre.

Communication before and during the stay was poor, and there was no air conditioning in the top-floor room. The location is good if you want to visit the Bambouseraie and ride the steam train.

The building is old and has some charm, but it gets quite uncomfortable in the heat. The owner was super rude and tried to charge us for every little thing. She also “forgot” to apply a discount we’d agreed on, which I noticed.

From the pool, there’s a beautiful view over the vineyards and surrounding area, and the place is very peaceful and charming. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and quiet enough for a proper rest. Breakfast is generous and especially high quality, a real treat for food lovers. The new host was attentive and very welcoming. There’s plenty of nature and cultural activities nearby too.

We’d gladly return to this beautiful, peaceful farmhouse. The rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious, made with local products. Karine was friendly, respected our privacy, and was there whenever we needed anything. We had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend the place.
