Garden & City Bagnères-de-Bigorre - Domaine de Ramonjuan

We’re not usually quick to complain, and the staff were very kind when we arrived. The outdoor area is lovely and the bed was comfortable. Still, the apartment was in disappointing condition and really dirty on arrival. The kitchen, especially the fridge and cupboards, needed cleaning; there was a lot of black mold and hair in the bathroom, the table was sticky, the couch smelled of urine, and the showerhead was broken. We tried to raise this in person, but there was nobody at reception when we checked out, and it seems their website and email address have been taken down. I’m sharing this in the hope the staff will fix these things for future guests. In its current state, the apartment isn’t worth the money.

The apartment was spacious, warm and clean, and the bed was comfortable, though there wasn’t much choice of pillows. The kitchen had two hot plates and a dishwasher, but no oven, frying pan or washing machine. WiFi didn’t work, and it wasn’t fixed while we were there. We liked the property’s relaxed feel and location, with some nice walks close by. Reception staff were polite, helpful and spoke good English. Parking was excellent and easy, and we slept well.

The team were so hospitable, thank you for everything! It’s a beautiful property in peaceful surroundings, with a large green garden and a river nearby.

We had a small apartment that was really clean and comfortable. The place has a lovely stretch of nature around it. Breakfast was outstanding, with good quality food and generous portions.
